I tried four times to purchase a home by myself. I had a great job, excellent credit, and I went to all of the home buyer classes available. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t save enough money for the down payment.

I didn’t have family or friends who were able to help and believe me, I asked them all. I told 

everyone my situation, and everyone said I could do it, but they didn’t say how. Susan and Jodi heard my story. They met with me and offered to help. The process was so easy when everything up until that moment had been so hard.  Susan and Jodi brought to the table everything I needed, and I brought to the table everything I had. We were all willing to work hard for a common goal. 

I now own my home with two amazing women that I’m proud to be in partnership with. I can’t believe they had the vision to create this opportunity for not only me but for other people like me. I am a 48-year-old woman that just closed on my first home. My kids are staying in the same school district, and our family has a place to feel secure while we work hard on our future. We are really grateful, really proud, and finally financially stable. 

I could never have done it without them, and I truly know it isn’t just a blessing ...it is a miracle in our life.
